Lead Teachers - Preschool / Pre-K / Infant/Toddler Lead Teachers
Overview:
Discoveries is seeking Lead Teachers for our Norfolk location in the Preschool, Pre-K, and Infant/Toddler classrooms. As a Lead Teacher, you will provide a nurturing environment that encourages children’s growth through hands-on learning, creativity, and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, curriculum.
- Lead and guide children in educational activities, including literacy, math, science, art, and social-emotional development.
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment where children feel safe, respected, and excited to learn.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress and communicate regularly with families regarding their child’s development.
